tales of a solid weekend.

hullo, it's been a while, no?

friday- friday started with me studying in the library for 5 hours. i only got half of my poject done- if that. man. then we went to trevor's championship soccer game. it was so exciting. they won, of course [hawks shoutout!] it was a good game, there were a few yellowcards and also someone got thrown outta the game! he was playing dirty, so he deserved it. to make it even better- there was a few guys with vuvuzuelas. those things are loud.

HAWKS! champions

after the game we went to buffalo wild wings in idaho falls- that place is open till 1AM! [nothing in rexburg is open past like 11pm] we ate. and ate. and ate. it was amazing. we also took an asian picture, since nate is a natural asian [not really] so we had to.

saturday- i went to the temple in the morning, it was incredible. i love that place.

then i went to the bbq we had for donna. it was fun. there were some good conversations...cough cough...after the bbq i went home and started to pack. i am almost all packed. wahooooo!! 12 DAYS UNTIL HOME!!! i can't wait, can't you tell? then i took a nap. while i was sleeping my phone kept going off then when i finally woke up we went out to the dunes to have a fire. it was fun. on the way home we listened to this song...i freaking love this song.

and now it's sunday- the best day of the week. i forget how much i love sundays until i focus on what sundays are all about. relief society was good...the lesson was on families and such. kind of cheesy, but that's a-ok. gospel doctrine was SO GOOD. the teacher, tom, is just awesome. he gets so excited about the lessons he teaches. he showed this talk from elder Jeffrey R Holland. it is one of my favorites.
sacrament meeting was good too. all of the talks were on enduring to the end. our friend, ben, gave an awesome talk. i loved it. it was so good.

anyways, this weekend has been quite a solid weekend. life is good!
