I have quite a few slices of humble pie recently. Conference was great and after the Sunday afternoon session of conference my family watched the 5000 days project. It was about two brothers growing up...i dont know how else to explain it but it was amazing. I laughed, cried, cried more, and was uplifted.

These young men are great examples to me. It reminded me of all the great friends I have that are serving missions right now. Heres a picture of a few of my bakersfield boys:

They are all serving the Lord. I am so grateful for their sacrifices to give up two years of their lives to serve the Lord and bring people closer to Christ. I am honored to have such great friends who are amazing and great examples to me. I know that they are starting the best two years of their lives, and i am so grateful that they are all worthy, righteous, and willing to serve in our Heavenly Father's name. I know this gospel is true and I pray that these boys will be able to spread the joy that the gospel brings into each of our lives. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book and i am so grateful to have it in my life. If you want to learn more about it, ask me! Itll be great :) haha. Anyways, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I know my Redeemer lives and loves me. Gratitude is the best attitude. Always.

p.s. if you ever see any Elder's near you, always say hello :)
