soaps

today while i was at the gym, there was a soap opera on and naturally, i watched it. anyways, there was a scene and there was an old lady and during the scene she said, "i'm rebounding like an oven door!"
it made me laugh. because i feel the same way. hahaha. i am a sucker for a good soap opera.

i especially am grateful for jacquie and amy. holy moly what would i do without them? i miss them both a lot. they help me when i can't help myself.

latex?

well. well. well. this past week. WAS A WEEK FROM HELL. im sorry, but really...it was.
So on Monday, i went to work, and it was all good.
Monday, i got home from work HIVES EVERYWHERE.
yeah. not tmi. you need to know this. sooo monday night-thursday i had HUGEHUGEHUGE hives. EVERYWHERE ON MY BODY. from my ears, chin, elbows, arms, legs, knees, stomach, feet, hands, bottom of feet, holy.
so yeah. i basically spent 5+ days at home in benadryl coma:
take two benadryl -- sleep four hours
take two benadryl -- sleep four hours
reapply callamine lotion
so on, so forth.
So ive basically deduced the allergy to a latex allergy. because at my job i wear latex gloves the entire time, from 7:45am-5:45am.
so. yeah. now i go back to work tomorrow, to see if i can withstand it.
ay caray! (kristen told me that one)
-jacquie.

the power of prayer

I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. there is a hymn that has been on my mind a lot these past couple days. here is the song and lyrics:
Oh, may my soul commune with thee
And find thy holy peace;
From worldly care and pain of fear,
Please bring me sweet release.
Oh, bless me when I worship thee
To keep my heart in tune,
That I may hear thy still, small voice,
And, Lord, with thee commune.
Enfold me in thy quiet hour
And gently guide my mind
To seek thy will, to know thy ways,
And thy sweet Spirit find.
Lord, grant me thy abiding love
And make my turmoil cease.
Oh, may my soul commune with thee
And find thy holy peace.
I cry everytime i hear this song because it is such a testimony to me that my Savior knows me, knows my troubles, and can guide me to make the right decisions.
i am so grateful and i believe in the power of prayer. i have been especially grateful for it during these past couple of days. i have been able to fall on my knees with a broken heart and offer up my prayers to my Heavenly Father. I am a strong believer that,
"when life gets too hard to stand, kneel." -Gordon B Hinkley.
